Bio: ELS learned the piano at 4. He could read scores before reading and writing. At Music School, he began the violin at 7 with the chance of a perfect pitch. As a violinist he practiced chamber music and held his orchestral score at 13. In addition to the violin, he studied Modern Jazz and harmony. Finally, he studied drums at a professional level and the guitar and bass to play music with brothers and friends.

His training has been diverse and 'classic', but that impromptu band orchestra in London streets with drums made out of paint pots is also part of his experience !

As a teenager, ELS began composing from the piano, synthesizer or guitar. There has not been a single day without music. It is for him like breathing, a rhythm that accompanies his life, movements, thinking. Upon awakening, music is never far away, just a few chords start drawing a musical phrase, loops back before landing, tamed, memorized for the listener's pleasure.

I was that listener last night - or was it early morning - because his musical tempo is ginned in the lightness of the air, thrown into a cluster of stars, suspended on the rim of the sky while anchored in the deep of your heart. SLM

I composed this music on my iPad on a Saturday morning, waiting for my kids' music class to end. I wish this to bring peace and grace to you and your family.
